The 2010 DWR Kick-Off picnic was a wonderful and fun gathering of amazing group of deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing women! Please see the above photo for you to enjoy.

I look forward interacting with many of you during the upcoming months during DWR-related events, workshops, or anywhere else within the Rochester community. DWR also welcomes new ones to the community and if you know of any deaf, hard-of-hearing, or any hearing women who is interested in becoming members of DWR, please refer them to this website and have them contact me at my email address underneath my name below.

And, we have plans for exciting events during the next several months and we’re working on confirming the dates and locations, so be sure to check both DWR website and your e-mail periodically. We are also on Facebook! Be sure to submit your request to be added to Facebook so you can be posted of any new information or postings.

For those who have renewed their memberships, thank you! For those who haven’t done so yet, it’s not too late! The link to the membership form on DWR website is www.deafwomenrochester.org/memberform.html. After filling out the membership form, please mail it along with the $15 fee to the address indicated on the form.
