Deaf Women of Rochester is excited to help DWR members network and share information about local Deaf Women-owned businesses to support our local Deaf ecosystem! The DWR Business Directory is intended to highlight and support Deaf women entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders.
What is a DWR-Owned Business?
A DWR-owned business is a business that is owned, co-owned, or led by a Deaf woman and aligns with the mission and values of Deaf Women of Rochester (DWR). These businesses may be for-profit or non-profit and operate across a variety of professional and creative fields.
Business Areas May Include (but are not limited to):
• Professional services (consulting, coaching, interpreting, legal, financial, etc.)
• Health, wellness, and mental health services
• Education, training, and tutoring
• Creative arts, media, baking, and design

• Retail, e-commerce, and product-based businesses

Can non-members be a part of this DWR Business Directory?
Currently, this is for members only. Non-members can apply for membership during open membership enrollment period in the fall.

Isabel Lainez is a Deaf artist, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator. Creative of many talents behind the one-woman design studio. She loves to be creative every day without a skeptical reservation for challenges and be empowered by Nature and beautiful ASL culture. She works for brand design with several different collaborating projects with clients, businesses, and organizations. She owned a small business and the shop.
