Camp Mark 7 Painting Project (An Active & Fun Volunteer Weekend!)

When: Friday, June 6th - Sunday, June 8th, 2025 DEADLINE TO REGISTER: May 22nd

Where: Camp Mark 7 144 Mohawk Hotel Road Old Forge, NY 13420

(About 3 hours from Rochester, NY) Who: DWR members only How much: Free, just volunteer your time! Free overnight stay at CM7, both nights.

What to Expect:

Agenda for the Weekend:

• Friday - Arrival Day

  You are welcome to arrive at any time in the afternoon.

• Saturday - Painting Day!

  We will participate in a painting day on the girls' floor, covering 12 rooms with 2 volunteers per room. If we complete the painting there, we can then move to the boys' floor, which has 10 rooms. Ideally, we would have 24 volunteers, but feel free to join us if you're interested!

• Sunday - Departure Day

  We will leave no later than noon with wonderful memories from over the weekend!

Meals:

• Friday - You will need to get dinner elsewhere.

• Saturday - CM7 will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (They might also have s'mores at the bonfire!)

• Sunday - Breakfast will be provided by CM7.
  

Other Important Information: CM7 will provide paint and supplies.

Please bring your own bottles. (You can fill them with water at CM7.)

Important: Please bring old clothes to wear. Caution: Please note that this painting work involves physical activity. Do so at your own discretion!
